As the name suggests, horizontal drilling does not require any digging.
The most common use for this system is the laying of new house supply lines. This refers to the connections from the main pipe in the street to your house. Such supply lines can include water, electricity, gas, TV, telephone, fibre optics or geothermal energy.
Disposal pipes such as waste water and clean water (rainwater) can also be installed using this system.

Attractive advantages made possible by the system include shorter construction times, massive cost savings, cleanliness & precision and avoidable land damage to your property.
With the Mini Twinny system, pipes can be pressed through the ground (using a controlled drilling head), while with the E-Z-Jet system a micro-tunnel is drilled (flush drilling) and then a pipe is pulled in.
With the Grundomat system, pipes are pushed through.
Depending on the system, different pipe diameters and lengths can be pulled in
In horizontal directional drilling (HDD), a steered drill head is also driven through the ground to create a micro-tunnel. However, a mud mixture is also pumped through the rods to support the bore channel. This allows much larger dimensions.
Pulling in all possible pipe diameters (depending on the soil)
